First off, I have to tell you what an amazing hold the Best Glue Ever has on paper! Honestly, I won't be using any other adhesives when paper crafting. I glued mint green card stock on parts of the box followed by various pieces of patterned paper. I also used the Best Glue Ever to adhere the red sparkly trim to the box. The pearls from my stash already had adhesive and I used hot glue to secure the roses, leaves, and bottle brush pieces due to their weight. I distressed the edges of the box and paper with the Tim Holz Tea Dye distress ink pad. Here is the inside of the box:
I used more of the paper, trim, and pearls on the inside of the box. Because I had stray pieces of bottle brush getting everywhere, I ran the Perfect Crafting Pouch over the inside of the box to
activate the anti static properties before I glued the crocheted doily down and problem fixed! Then
I added the embellished bottle brush tree. Here is a side view too:
The box also came with a tag book, so I decorated it to match the box. I hope you like it!
Again, I used the Best Glue Ever on the papers and all trims and lace. I also glued some snowy iridescent flakes on each tag in the booklet. Before I did that, I put the No Clog Writing Cap on my
bottle of Glossy Accents (that is always clogged), and it worked very well! I used that to outline some of the text for depth. I distressed and tied some seam binding to the ring of the book to give it a more vintage feel. And since I got glue on my fingers from pressing lightly to get the snow to stick, I got out my Perfect Cleaning Cloth and squirted a bit of the Best Cleaner Ever on it and had clean hands in a jiffy! Here a the other pages of the tag book:
