Spooky Cute Altered Altoid Tin for ScraPerfect

Hello everyone!  Halloween is approaching and I was inspired by my friend Michelle Wells, who taught a class on altering Altoid tins, so I gave it a try with some ScraPerfect products,  Check it out!

I could not have completed this project without The Best Glue Ever!  It provided the perfect hold to attach everything to the metal Altoid tin.  I removed the lid of the tin and then covered it with two coats of black gesso.  I used The Best Glue Ever to glue the paper to the inside of the tin and glue dots to attach the ribbon around the edges.  For dimension, I added some foam tape to the back of the gold photo embellishment.

On top of the tin, I used The Best Glue Ever again to glue the embellishments to the black rose from The Vintage Rose Emporium.  I made some larger glue dots and used them to affix the rose to the tin. For the bottom, I mounted the tin on a wooden knob that I painted orange and then covered with black lace. A dollop of The Best Glue Ever and light pressure for a few minutes to set worked like a charm to attach the finished tin to the base.  Finally, to remove any excess glue on the project and my hands, I used a small amount of The Best Cleaner Ever on the Perfect Cleaning Cloth.  The cleaner is amazing and I love that it is eco-friendly!

Thanks so much for stopping by to see my spooky cute altered Altoid tin, please leave me a comment.  You can see more of my work on my blog Vintage Rose Creations by Kim

ScraPerfect and Glass Project - Elegant Candle Holders

Hello everyone!  I am happy to be with you today to share a tutorial for a project that is special to my heart.  The candle holders that I made are part of the centerpieces for my upcoming wedding.  It was important that they be durable so I choose The Best Glue Ever for this project and am very happy with the results!  I started out with a plain glass candle holder.

I added lots of loose pearls to the inside and put a flameless candle on top of the pearls as my base of the project.

Now I used The Best Glue Ever to adhere some braided trim to the bottom rim of the candle holders.  I used tiny dots of glue along the back of the trim, a little goes a long way!  I held onto the trim for a few minutes once I placed it on the glass for an extra strong hold.  I did end up with glue on my fingers this way and a bit on the glass where it didn't belong.  No problem, I got out my
Perfect Cleaning Cloth and used a small amount of The Best Cleaner Ever and clean up was a breeze!

Now it was time to embellish, I handmade ivory chiffon singed petal flowers with pearl centers and glued 1 large and 1 medium flower to the side of the glass candleholder.  After that I twisted together a few pearl stamens and glued them in between the 2 flowers for the final touch.

Aren't they pretty finished and with the candle on?  Now I have to make the rest!  Couldn't  have done this project without my ScraPerfect supplies.  I needed the glue to dry clear as the candle holders can be seen all the way around, The Best Glue Ever really delivered!

Denim and Lace Shabby Canvas for ScraPerfect

Hello Crafters!  This is my first project as a Designer with ScraPerfect and I challenged myself to make something without using paper.  I wanted to see how well The Best Glue Ever would work on canvas.  I was astonished at how well it holds and couldn't believe that only a few dots of glue held this entire project together!

I am a hands on crafter and got The Best Glue Ever on my hands in short time pressing the handkerchief, trims, and laces on my canvas.  My tip is to use something like a wooden skewer to apply gentle pressure to the material you are adhering for about 30 seconds.  I was able to clean my hands in a flash by spraying a small amount of The Best Cleaner Ever.  This stuff is amazing!

The Best Glue Ever was strong enough to keep this ceramic medallion on my canvas easily.

It also held my handmade rolled flowers, appliques, and bling.  I used one small dot of The Best Glue Ever to make my own dangle trim out of seam binding at the bottom of the canvas too.

I opened my package of Embellie Gellie and used it to attach the loose pearls and rhinestones to this project so quickly!  I was impressed at how easy it was to get the bling from the stick to my project. The amount in the little cute pink case will last any crafter a lifetime too!
